From the creative mind of musician Luke Maxwell Johnson, Nightmares of The Sun applies the heaviest and most melodic elements of progressive metal to create an instrumental journey with a retro sci-fi inspired concept.

Pushing himself to explore soundscapes outside of the more traditional and melodic death metal that he is known for, Luke has embraced electronic elements, incorporating not only retro keys and mellotrons but an array of synths, drum machines, sound fx and strings to create a detailed sonic landscape in which to work.
