I’ve been performing as part of an acoustic duo and use the Boss RC-10R for looping and drums in a variety of different ways, here I document how I get the most out of it and use it effectively in performances.

Now that the debut album of my solo project Nightmares of The Sun is finally out I thought I’d break down the tracks and talk about what they are about, how they fit into the story, and some of the history and ideas that when into writing them.

I thought it would be fun to break down some of what it took to write, record, and mix/master the Nightmares of The Sun album Sol. As this was the 1st album I tackled from start to finish all on my own I definitely learnt a few things along the way which I’ll share here too.

I created this EP as a showreel piece over 2 weeks in April of 2019. Here I break down the concept and process I went though to create it.
